Try out the slider on the image to see the original reference piece. I believe that Public Domain artwork is an underrated source for finding unique media. So many incredible artifacts of the past are left to museum basements and rarely searched databases. I love to give them new life in my art.
Mellowing into the haze around her, our subject aimlessly smirks past us thinking of the snack she’s going to make when this joint is finished. Probably some ready-to-bake cookies. It’s the right time of day to embrace such tendencies and she’s prepared to roll another once the oven dings.
A mix of historical art and anachronism play heavily into my digital art. Incorporating objects and situations seemingly misplaced in time creates contrast with the original composition. This dichotomy births an entirely new dreamlike timeline, juxtaposing our expectations with new ideas.
