This conceptual Wired Magazine layout was an exercise in creating a piece that would fit into the well-established Wired Magazine aesthetic. Using brand guidelines and standard specs, I imagined a dream opportunity to create a spread for this clever and quirky brand with a past article.

Outcome
The final layout meshes well with Wired Magazine’s set precedent of quirky and clever styled spreads. The clean and structured justified text and white space of the page makes room for the shapely and rather bizarre illustrations to create an overall unified composition. The consistency of bold yellow throughout guides the readers’ eyes through the piece while making valuable stops along the way.
On another note… I’d love to hear from you!
